Will Man United appoint Mourinho as coach again?

Jose Mourinho’s desire to return to the helm at Manchester United is making headlines, but it seems the feeling isn’t mutual from the club’s side.

Reports from the Manchester Evening News suggest that while the Portuguese tactician is eager for a second stint at Old Trafford, the feeling isn’t reciprocated by the Red Devils’ hierarchy.

Mourinho, known for his managerial prowess and sometimes controversial approach, reportedly expressed his willingness to “walk” back to Manchester to take charge once again.

However, despite his confidence, there’s no indication of any imminent reunion between the two parties.

The timing of Mourinho’s rumored interest coincides with Manchester United’s recent struggles, notably a crushing 4-0 defeat to Crystal Palace. Such results often stir speculation and fuel discussions about potential managerial changes.

During his previous tenure at United, Mourinho tasted success with notable triumphs in the Europa League and League Cup.

However, his departure in December 2018 marked the end of that chapter, leading him to subsequent managerial roles at Tottenham Hotspur and AS Roma.

While Mourinho’s track record commands respect, it appears that United’s focus lies elsewhere for now, with no clear indication of any forthcoming approach to bring the Portuguese back into the fold.
