EXCLUSIVE: Bayern Munich has reached an agreement with Tottenham to sign Harry Kane

Tottenham has given Harry Kane permission to travel to Germany for a physical after the London club approved Bayern Munich’s £100 million+ offer.

The 30-year-old reportedly thought about staying at Spurs and waiting to go on a free transfer next summer, but it is believed he has changed his mind and believes the move would be best for his career.

The club has made it plain that they believe they can win the Champions League with a team led by Kane and managed by Thomas Tuchel, and all communication with Bayern has been easy.

According to several sources, the player’s team had been hoping for a transfer from Manchester United or Real Madrid, but when that didn’t happen, they rapidly considered other options.

Kane now wants to play against Leipzig in the German Super Cup on Saturday, but there are still many formalities to be done before the deal can be finalized.  It is believed that Spurs will earn more than £80 million up front, with the overall deal exceeding £110 million in reachable clauses.

Kane is approaching the end of his Tottenham deal, so in a year he will be free to depart for nothing.

The English forward seems eager to remain in the Premier League, where he is inching closer to breaking Alan Shearer’s record of 260 goals.

Since his 2012 Spurs debut, Kane has scored 213 Premier League goals.

Kane reportedly wanted to stay in England so he could surpass Alan Shearer’s 260-goal record for the Premier League.  Kane was persuaded to stay by Spurs fans during the 5-1 friendly victory over Shakhtar Donetsk on Sunday.

Under new manager Ange Postecoglou, the club opens its Premier League campaign on Sunday at Brentford.
