Real Madrid Advances to Club World Cup Final after 4-1 Win Over Al Ahly.

Real Madrid is through to the Club World Cup final after an emphatic 4-1 victory over Al Ahly in the semi-final in Morocco on Wednesday.

Vinicius Junior, Federico Valverde, Rodrigo, and Sergio Arribas all got on the scoresheet for the Spanish giants, who will face Al Hilal in the final this weekend.

The match began with Real Madrid dominating possession and creating a few chances, but Al Ahly remained resolute and defended well.

They looked dangerous on the counter-attack and could have taken the lead when Ali Maaloul had a shot blocked from close range.

However, Real Madrid eventually broke the deadlock when Vinicius Junior prodded home from close range in the 42nd minute.

The goal gave the Spanish side the advantage going into the break.
The second half started brightly for Real Madrid, who doubled their lead early on through Federico Valverde.

The Uruguayan midfielder tapped in from a rebound after Al Ahly goalkeeper Mohamed El-Shenawy Real Madrid had chances to extend their lead but wasted them.

Al Ahly was given a lifeline when Eduardo Camavinga tripped Hussein El Shahat inside the area in the 65th minute. Maaloul tucked away the penalty with aplomb to reduce the deficit.

Real Madrid had a great chance to restore their two-goal cushion in the 87th minute when Modric was fouled inside the area, but the Croatian blazed his spot kick over the bar.

The miss looked costly, but Real Madrid had the last laugh as Rodrygo and Arribas scored late goals to seal a 4-1 victory. Real Madrid now faces Al Hilal in the final on Saturday.

The Saudi Arabian side shocked South American champions Flamengo 3-2 in the first semi-final to book their place in the showpiece event. It promises to be an exciting final.
