Kane’s world-record goal gives Tottenham the victory over Man City.

In a crucial Premier League match, Tottenham Hotspur defeated Manchester City 1-0 courtesy to a record-breaking goal by Harry Kane.

After Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg snatched the ball from City’s defense, Kane scored the game’s first goal in the 15th minute by converting from close range.

As a result of his goal, he surpassed Jimmy Greaves as Spurs’ all-time leading scorer and became just the third player to reach 200 Premier League goals in his career.

Despite dominating the game throughout, Spurs were unable to increase their advantage. In the second half, Kane narrowly missed two excellent opportunities.

As time expired, City was given a chance to tie the score after Cristian Romero was dismissed for receiving a second yellow card. However, Pep Guardiola’s team was unable to score.

Tottenham now only trail Newcastle by one point in fourth place, while City fails to benefit from Arsenal’s loss to Everton yesterday in the race for the championship.

After Antonio Conte underwent gallbladder surgery earlier this week, assistant coach Cristian Stellini took over as the head coach of the Spurs today.
