Daniel Sturridge, a former striker for Liverpool, has an arrest warrant out for him after he skipped court in Los Angeles.
Sturridge last played for Perth Glory in April of 2022, and he hasn’t played in a professional game since this past summer. Throughout his playing career, the 34-year-old has also represented Chelsea, West Brom, Manchester City, Trabzonspor, and Bolton Wanderers, in addition to Liverpool.

Later, it was discovered that Foster Washington, a rapper from the United States going under the name Killa Fame, posted pictures on social media claiming credit for facilitating Sturridge’s reunion with his pet. A civil complaint was filed after it was claimed that Washington had not received the funds promised by Sturridge in the award.
Sturridge was required to pay Washington $30,000 (£22,400) as part of a default judgment by a LA court in December 2021. This indicated that Sturridge, who represented England in 26 games, did not respond to the grievance.
Sturridge was not present for the court appearance, according to the report, and it is now being asserted that a bench warrant has been issued for the former Liverpool striker. This indicates that a summons has been issued by a judge ordering the defendant (Sturridge) to be arrested and brought to court, with a new hearing date of November 30.
