Serie A teams are now interested in Arsenal striker Balogun, who the Gunners value at £50 million. Inter had been considering trading for Chelsea forward Lukaku, but Juventus and Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal are now the favorites to sign the Belgian international.
After giving up on Romelu Lukaku of Chelsea, Inter Milan is now considering trade for £50 million-rated Arsenal forward Folarin Balogun.
While on loan at Inter last year, Lukaku helped the Italian team win the Coppa Italia and go to the Champions League final. His chances of securing a long-term return to the team he represented from 2019 to 2021, however, have been dashed by Inter’s decision to turn its attention to other striker prospects.
Juventus is willing to pay 40 million euros, including add-ons, and has held conversations. Any offer, though, will probably be contingent upon them offloading Dusan Vlahovic. Al Hilal is Lukaku’s alternate choice, though it appears that his priority right now is to stay in European competition.
