Eddie Nketiah Impressed Arteta after FA Cup Double vs. Oxford United.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has been left impressed with the performances of striker Eddie Nketiah following his double against Oxford United in the FA Cup. Nketiah scored twice in the 3-0 win, setting up a fourth-round tie against Manchester City, and has scored five goals in his past five games.

The 23-year-old has been deputizing for Gabriel Jesus since Brazil forward suffered a knee injury at the World Cup, and Arteta has been pleased with his performances. “He is seizing the moment and taking his chance,” said the Arsenal boss. “He is doing really well.”

Nketiah put Arsenal ahead in the 70th minute before Mohamed Elneny scored in the 63rd minute, and Nketiah added his second in the 76th. The Gunners have now won four consecutive matches in all competitions, and Nketiah has been key to their success.

He has shown good instincts in front of the goal, as well as an ability to bring his teammates into play, and Arteta believes he is growing in confidence with every game. Nketiah will now be looking to continue his good form against Manchester City, and if he can lead the line effectively, he could help Arsenal cause an upset in the FA Cup. It is clear that Nketiah has made a huge impression on Arteta, and if he can continue his fine form, he could become a regular starter for the Gunners.
