Chelsea Agree £9.6m for Joao Felix loan move in efforts to revamp their attack

We understand that a verbal agreement has been reached between Chelsea and Joao Felix to sign him on a loan basis until the end of the current campaign. However, the transaction has not yet been finalized. There is reportedly a lot of outside interest in Felix, but Chelsea is now close to finalizing the transaction.

Felix had potential loan offers from Manchester United and Arsenal, among other teams, but the report from The Athletic also stated that the 23-year-old chose the Blues because he was drawn to their endeavor.

The Portuguese forward is expected to be signed by the Blues before League counterparts Manchester United and Arsenal, as neither club is willing to pay the €11 million (£9.69 million) loan fee.

Given that his team has only scored close to 20 goals in only 17 Premier League games this season, Felix would greatly improve attacking options for head coach Graham Potter.
