Aaron Ramsdale, who missed Chelsea’s match due to the birth of his son, is back at Arsenal’s training

The England goalkeeper’s first son, born on Friday with wife Georgina, kept him out of Arsenal’s 2-2 draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. Ramsdale did, however, take part in the Monday morning training session. After the session, Arsenal was supposed to reveal their traveling team for the Sevilla encounter.

The 25-year-old is currently vying with David Raya for the starting goalie job after losing it last month. Ramsdale has only played once since Raya made his debut on September 17 against Everton in the Carabao Cup third round against Brentford.

Arsenal defeated Brentford 1-0, and Ramsdale preserved a spotless record. Raya hasn’t played well lately, thus Ramsdale might get a chance to rejoin the team.On Tuesday, October 24, the Gunners will play Sevilla in the Champions League in an attempt to get back to winning ways in Europe.
