Luka Doncic Shatters Records and Takes Home Western Conference Player of the Month.

The Dallas Mavericks are in awe of their young superstar, Luka Doncic, as he takes the NBA by storm. Doncic is proving his worth as he sets records and takes home the Western Conference Player of the Month award for games played in December 2022. In 15 games played in December, Doncic averaged an impressive 35.1 points, 8.5 rebounds, 9.3 assists, and 1.6 steals per game.

His remarkable exploits propelled the Mavericks to an 11-4 record, including a six-game winning run to end the month. Doncic scored 30 or more points in 12 of his 15 games and 50 or more points in three of them.

Throughout the month, he also had three triple-doubles. But it was against the New York Knicks when Doncic put up a career-high 60 points, 21 rebounds, ten assists, two steals, and one block in 47 minutes. This made him the first player in NBA history to accomplish a 60-point, 20-rebound triple-double and just the NBA’s second player to achieve it.

His 60 points also broke the Mavericks’ club scoring record, overtaking Dirk Nowitzki. In addition, Doncic became the NBA’s first player to record 225 points, 50 rebounds, and 50 assists. This is the third time in his career that Doncic has been named Western Conference Player of the Month.

The Mavericks organization and the entire NBA stand in awe of the 23-year-old’s incredible talent and potential for greatness. Doncic is proving himself to be a force to be reckoned with and a player to watch for years.
