Jayson Tatum had 19 points, Grant Williams 18, Derrick White 16, and Sam Hauser and Luke Kornet 15 apiece. White also had 10 assists, and Kornet had 15 points who went 7-of-7 from the field. The Celtics were without injured guards Marcus Smart and Malcolm Brogdon, but it didn’t matter against the Hawks. The Celtics put on a shooting display, going 50-of-96 from the field and 17-of-38 from 3-point range.
The Celtics also had 29 assists on their 50 baskets. The win extends the Celtics’ winning to eight games and keeps them atop the Eastern Conference standings.
