With a win over the Atlanta Hawks helps the Celtics keep winning.

The Boston Celtics won their eighth straight game with a 126-101 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night. Led by Jaylen Brown, who scored 22 points, the Celtics got balanced scoring from seven players in double figures.

Jayson Tatum had 19 points, Grant Williams 18, Derrick White 16, and Sam Hauser and Luke Kornet 15 apiece. White also had 10 assists, and Kornet had 15 points who went 7-of-7 from the field. The Celtics were without injured guards Marcus Smart and Malcolm Brogdon, but it didn’t matter against the Hawks. The Celtics put on a shooting display, going 50-of-96 from the field and 17-of-38 from 3-point range.

The Celtics also had 29 assists on their 50 baskets. The win extends the Celtics’ winning to eight games and keeps them atop the Eastern Conference standings. The Celtics will look to continue their winning ways on Friday night when they visit the New Orleans Pelicans. The Celtics have been on a roll lately, winning eight straight games.

They are playing some of their best basketball of the season and look like a team that could make a deep run in the playoffs. Celtics have solidified themselves as the top team in the Eastern Conference. The Celtics will need to bring their A-game if they want to extend their winning streak to nine games against New Orleans Pelicans. The Celtics have a nice mix of players that can score and defend. Their bench has also been playing well lately. The Celtics are a team to watch in the playoffs.
