The Grizzlies defeated the Dubs in an entertaining match

On Saturday, the Warriors entered a venue that has no patience for visiting teams and brought one of the worst road records in the NBA. Golden State Warriors lose to Memphis Grizzlies 133-119

The Warriors were defeated 133-119, dropping them back to (36-36) and extending their road losing streak to 11. After falling down early, they tried to catch up to the Grizzlies throughout the rest of the game but were unable to do so.

The Warriors had six players score in double figures, with Jonathan Kuminga leading the way with 24 total points. Jordan Poole scored a total of 21, while Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson both scored 16.

The best home record in the NBA now stands at 29-5 for the Grizzlies.

The Grizzlies average fewer than 12 made 3-pointers a game, so they don’t typically rely heavily on this type of shooting. The only real threats are Desmond Bane and Luke Kennard.

In this game, not so. Memphis missed 12 3-pointers in the opening period. Also, the efficiency was astounding at an astounding 63.2 percent. Before halftime, at least two drills were performed by Dillon Brooks, David Roddy, Jaren Jackson Jr., and Kennard, four separate players.

A mood was created. For the contest, the Grizzlies shot 18.4 percent (18-of-38) from outside the arc. When you allow such fantastic long-range shooting, it’s really challenging to win, whether you’re playing at home or away.

Curry finished with 16 points on 5-of-15 shooting, down from his 31-point performance on Friday in Atlanta. The credit will go to Dillon Brooks, but Steph was getting tired.

With 6-of-17 shooting, Klay Thompson scored 14 points. After a career-high 18 points and 16 rebounds against the Hawks, Kevon Looney finished with 10 points and three rebounds.
